What is purity?
Why is purity important to me and my family?
The Byers family will present information on purity and its impact on the family. This concept is the basis behind our Code of Conduct and Dress Code, and one of the main principles behind our vision for PSP Sports And More; to encourage the Biblical family to raise children that will not compromise and/or be ashamed of the Gospel.
A quote from Dr Michael Farris (Homeschool Legal Defense & Patrick Henry College) about the dangers compromise:
“Our unwillingness to name sin and our desire to come across to the world as tolerant is contrary to the message of the Gospel, in that it mutes the message that people are in peril and need a Savior.”
God has called us to a pure life! Matthew 5: 8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” The world is attempting to sell us what they want us to think but we must determine what God’s values are for His people. This class is will reveal the Biblical basis for purity for the family and the individual and how we can help hold each other accountable.
We will be utilizing the book, Looking at Myself Before Loving Someone Else by John Coblentz:
- Understanding my feeling
- Important qualities for a young man to cultivate
- Important qualities for a young woman to cultivate
- Finding God’s will
We will have some resources about purity available for your review and a list will be handed out at the class.

We are offering the Family Purity class for students, age Jr. high through adult.
