ABOUT
PSP Sports And More is excited to announce this one year (2 semester) class. This class is intended for high school level students but other interested students can participate.
Pre-requisiste: Algebra 1
We will be using the Video Text Geometry curriculum which will need to be purchased by each student/family. This curriculum includes a full year’s credit in Geometry.

“The VideoText Interactive Geometry program addresses two of the most important aspects of mathematics instruction. First, the inquiry-based video format contributes to the engaging of students more personally in the concept development process. Second, each incremental concept is explored in detail, using no shortcuts, tricks, rules, or formulas, and no step in the process is ignored. As such, the logic and the continuity of the development assure students that they understand completely.”
Additionally, PSP Sports And More will provide a weekly class covering additional instruction and reinforcement in the geometry concepts being studied.
CLASSES/AGE GROUPS
We are offering this class for high school age students (9th-12th grade), however all ages are welcome. This class gives the student the equivalent of one year high school Geometry. It is recommended that the student has completed Algebra 1.
COST

TEXTBOOK
Parents are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and grading the course. There are different options available for ordering the Video Text Geometry curriculum.
- We have made an arrangement through Video Text to provide each family with online access to the video lessons, work text, course notes & solutions manual for a time period of one (1) year for $100.
- The lessons would be viewed online by computer, phone or tablets.
- The work text, course notes & solutions manual can be downloaded (PDF format) and printed.
- PSP Sports And More will provide, through the class, quizzes and tests (including answer keys).
- Additionally, if the family would like to purchase the Geometry Desk Reference set (which includes the work text, course notes & solutions manual) in book form, that would cost an additional $69.
- If you want to purchase the full online curriculum package, the cost would be $299. This would provide online access for all materials with out the time limitation.
