Fall 2015 Flag Football
We have the equipment (flags, footballs, & field) and some great coaches to help us learn this sport. Flag football is for ages 8 through adult.
Register for Flag Football
Players can join us at any point in our season (registration cost are the same regardless of when you join).
As with all our programs this is not a drop off program; at least one parent/guardian must stay with their players.
Please see our PSP Sports And More guidelines. The guidelines are our Statement of Faith, Home Education Philosophy, Code of Conduct, & Dress Code.
When you register, you sign the statement on the back of the registration form stating that you agree with and will abide by these guidelines.

Age Groups
- Junior Flag Football- Girls (ages 8 – 12)
- Junior Flag Football- Boys (ages 8-12)
- Senior Flag Football- Girls (ages 13 – college)
- Senior Flag Football- Boys (ages 13 – college)
Costs
- $55 per player
Pre-registration on or before 10/23/15 will be $50 per player. You can pre-register at soccer practice on Friday, October 23, 2015, 2:00 PM (Brewster Park) or by mail (with a postmark no later than 10/23/15).
Regular Flag Football registration will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM on the field at Brewster Park. You can register at any practice during our flag football season.
If you register in person we accept cash, credit card, or check. If you register by mail we only accept checks or money orders.
A note about our fees: Our fees are designed to pay our expenses and we work to keep them as low as possible. If cost becomes an issue, please contact us for different options (payments, pay what you can, even free). We are here to support private Christian homeschool families!
We also offer an additional $5 discount per player. See if you qualify!

When are Practices?
Tuesdays, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED/RENTALS
What kind of equipment do I need for my student to play?

- Every player MUST have closed toe shoes at every practice/game or they will not be able to play.
- Please remove all jewelry (watches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, hard hair clips, etc.) so your student and other players are not injured.
- Always bring plenty of water; 32 oz. or more per player.
We are using the NFL FLAG 2012 Official Rule Book as our guidelines for this sport. You can view it for information on the game, terminology, & rules.
Rentals
We have some used cleats for exchange (trade up to a bigger size) or rent (rental is $2 donation, each item for the season); first come, first served. Our rental/exchange items will first be available on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the soccer practice (Brewster Park). The rental equipment will be available at each flag football practice.
If you have used PSP Sports And More clothing or flag football equipment (cleats, balls, etc; no used socks or undergarmets please) that are clean, in good condition, you may exchange it for other used equipment or donate it to PSP Sports And More for other families to use.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
It takes a lot of work to run PSP Sports And More and we could not do it without volunteers. We need your help!
- We are looking for qualified head coaches and willing assistant coaches
- We need other volunteers
All those interested in helping, please attend our annual Volunteer Meeting:
- We will have a meeting for all volunteers (coaches, team parents or any volunteers) on Friday, August 21, 2015, 7:15 – 8:30 PM. Anyone interested in volunteering with PSP Sports And More throughout this school year (2015/16) needs to attend this meeting.
Coaches Needed
We need volunteer head and assistant coaches. Would you like to coach your son or daughter? We need coaches and assistant coaches for all age groups in all of our sports and classes. We always encourage the parents to play at practices! If you have never coached or don’t know the rules of flag football, we’ll teach you or place you with a more experienced coach. Contact us ASAP if you want to help.

CLOTHING
Every players needs to wear a PSP Sports And More shirt (see Clothing Order Form below) and black sweats or knee length shorts.
All PSP Sports logo clothing can be worn at any of the different sports; the clothing you purchased for soccer can be worn for baseball, etc. We need to have your orders (with payment) by 8/21/15 so that we can place your order. You can place your order in Apple Valley on Friday, August 21, 2015, 6:00-7:00 PM (call for location) or mail your order (with payment) to us with a postmark no later than 8/21/15. In order to keep costs as low as possible, we place two group orders a year. Once in the spring before our baseball, softball, teeball season and once in the fall before our soccer season.
